Vicki ignores all of the advice and warnings she has been given to stay away from Jeremy, instead chasing after him and Elena. Losing her mind as she has been transformed into a vampire she almost kills Elena before Stefan drives a stake through her heart.

This death greatly affects all concerned, Elena asking Stefan to erase her memory of everything. However after a trist he admits that he isn’t actually capable of doing this for her. Just on time, Damon appears and offers to wipe her memory (of course with an evil motive).

We learn that Bonnies possesses a very powerful heirloom passed on generation through generation. It’s powerful enough to burn Damon’s hand from touching it.At the local Halloween party Elena and Matt show up together in matching costumes just as they have done previously, somewhat of a tradition between the two of them.
