Stefan admits to Elena that actually he is indeed a vampire, asking her not to tell anyone and to keep it between him and her. Suprisingly Elena takes this news well and he goes onto further explain the intricacies involved in being such a creature including standard rules and traditions. Meanwhile we are still unsure as to who killed Katherine as Stefan seems to have stopped dropping hints concerning the matter.

Damon then turns Vicki half way into a vampire. By letting her drink his blood before breaking her neck. Vicki does not understand what happened so she wonders to Jeremy’s house. It wasn’t until then that Stefan realized she was only half dead. In her new state Vicki drinks the very blood of her Aunt Jenna’s ex, Logan. This results in her completing her transformation and she is now 100% pure vampire.

Damon manages to get there in time to save Stefan from Logan’s gun shots. The wooden bullets he was shooting are deadly for vampires. Elena hard of heart and thought decides that the only option she has it to break up with Stefan, sadly making her more susceptible to attacks by Damon. She tells Stefan that she doesn’t want to tell others about him, and she also doesn’t want to date him anymore due to the madness going on around her.
