Season 1, Episode 5 You’re Undead To Me Aired: 08/10/09
We begin the third installment of The Vampire Diaries with Stefan telling Damon that he was going to be locked securely away for the subsequent 50 years. However, Damon uses his powers to lure Caroline to his chamber to allow him to escape.
Caroline escapes Damon by running into the light. Because Stefan had Damon’s ring, Damon could not survive in the light and can’t follow her. Stefan attempts to earn back Elena’s trust by enlightening her more about himself and his past. Later withing the episode after speaking with a character she goes to the library to do some investigation of her own. She fins and old black and white pictures of a years old crime scene and sees an un-aged Stefan, looking exactly as he does today.
With all of this evidence she put all her claims together and faces up to Stefan. Meanwhile, at their vehicle wash, Bonnie splashed a girl using her magical powers. Then due to anger she accidently starts a fire whilst in a trance which Stefan pulls her out of. Stefan promises her he would not tell anyone about what had happened. Bonnie went to her granny and asked her for help. Jeremy got crazy at her, putting a stress on their relationship.
