Episode 3 Friday Night Bites

Season 1, Episode 3 Friday Night Bites Aired 9/24/09

Starting the third installment of The Vampire Diaries - Damon hints at his love for Elena, but doesn’t give much more in the way of emotions, than that. Stefan joins the schools football team to the dismay of Tyler who gives him a lot of trouble. Matt disliked Tyler’s efforts at trying to injure Stefan and the 2 had a falling out over the skirmishes. Elena quits the cheerleading squad for good after having enough of their attitudes and tried getting Stefan and Bonnie to bond at a dinner party which Caroline and Damon crashed. Stefan tried to get Elena from inviting Damon in but she did anyway much to her dismay.

Elena dreamed she was in her room with Stefan but he turned into Damon. Later at a game, Stefan gave Elena an amulet, which might be able to stop Damon from being able to “glamour” her. Damon continued to control Caroline by making her wear a scarf she wouldn’t take off. Stefan tried to reach out to Damon about him still punishing Stefan for Katherine’s death because he still loved her. Damon then attacked the football coach, proving to his brother he was still a killer.

Elena’s brother Jeremy continued to fight over Vicky with Tyler. Elena watched as Stefan tried breaking up a fight between the 2 and even though Elena swore she saw him get hurt, Stefan lies and says the blood she saw was someone else’s. in secret, Vicky tells Jeremy she hadn’t only been with him because of the drugs.

Bonnie keeps seeing yet insignificant numbers. Still waiting on what they might mean. True to the male ego, Damon is in hot pursuit of Elena because of her reluctance to give into him.
