Episode 11 Bloodlines

Season 1,Episode 11 Bloodlines Aired 21/1/10

Katherine is rescued by Damon from the car crash, he gets her out and she faints after mentioning she looks so much like Katherine.

Aleric flashes back to a previous memory of how much he loved Isobel.

Elena is driven down to Georigia by Damon, whilst he pulls over her phone rings. It’s Stefan on the other end who he teases and then puts the phone down on him. Only by making Damon promise that he doesn’t use any of his vampire super powers on him does Elena agree to continue with the drive to Georgia.

Back in town Aleric searches the car until he finds his valuable ring, whilst Stefan asks Bonnie to use her powers to locate his girlfriend. Sadly her powers are not capable it seems of doing this and she leaves timidly.

After trying to figure out who the person is that Elena had run over in the precious episode the two enter a bar where they meet Bree (one of Damon’s ex-girlfriends who he met at college). Damon asks if Bree will assist him to open Katherines tomb after realising that a spell from Emily would work.

Bonnie is advised by Grams in regards to her powers and tells her she needs to let go of her inner-fears, she enters the wood and manages to fall into an underground hole.

Stefan manages to get through to Elena whilst Damon listens in, still troubled she demands to know why her and Katherine look so alike, Stefan has no answers to this.

Stefan meets Grams at Bonnies house and upon shaking hands she is immediately able to read him. Luckily she sees that his intentions are honest and she gives him a clue as to Elenas location. Then Stefan goes to the woods to find Bonnie.After searching for a while, he finds Bonnie (scaring her accidently to begin with) but then manages to use his vampire powers to get her out into the open.

Meanwhile Jeremy gets chatting to a new character – Anna who reveals that her grandfather had kept a journal. Jeremy is intruiged that both of their ancestors seem to have created such journals, and their conversation about vampires continues. As they are getting on so well Anna asks Jeremy out yet he declines saying he has just come out of relationship.

Elena wonders if she is related to Katherine as they look so alike, Damon informs her that Vampires can’t procreate leaving the possibility seemingly impossible. Whilst she goes outside to take a call from Aunt Jenna a vampire grabs her. Damon follows the tracks in an attempt to fine Elena but shortly gets ambushed by Lexi’s boyfriend. A fight breaks out and Damon has gasoline poured all over him whilst Elena pleads for his mercy which is eventually given.

Every gets back to Mystic Falls and Elena demands the truth from Stefan, she learns that it was actually Stefan who saved her from the car accident that killed her parents, her father making sure she was out first. It is also revealed that Elena was adopted.
